The Authority Brands' 2025 Convention brought all of our brands together in one place to learn, grow, and celebrate. One of the highlights of our event was the Gala Awards, where we recognized our Franchise Owners of the Year for 2024.
Since 2005, ASP - Americas Swimming Pool Company has recognized a Franchise of the Year within their system. In fact, their first Franchise of the Year was awarded to Jimmie Meece, who is now the Brand President of the brand.
For 2024, Franchise of the Year was awarded to Gordy Pease, owner of ASP - Americas Swimming Pool Company of Columbus, GA.
“This recognition goes to the franchise in our system that best represents what excellence in small business looks like,” Jimmie said. “At ASP, our Franchise of the Year award winners are true leaders in our company. They embody all the characteristics a successful small business owner should reflect. They have an incredible work ethic, possess integrity at the highest level, are a true brand ambassadors every day, and most importantly, create a culture where their employees can excel and grow.”
Gordy started his business 15 years ago and was a former Franchise of the Year, winning the award in 2010 in only his second year. He is also a former chairman on our Franchise Advisory Council.
In 2024, his location produced sales of $2.6 million, finishing fourth in the company in gross revenue in one of the brand’s smallest territories.
“He would be the first to tell you his success is due to his terrific team of 13 employees,” Jimmie said. “He is a leader in both his local community and within the ASP company.”
