The Authority Brands' 2025 Convention brought all of our brands together in one place to learn, grow, and celebrate. One of the highlights of our event was the Gala Awards, where we recognized our Franchise Owners of the Year for 2024.
Taylor and Bree Hatton of Bethesda-Rockville, MD were named Franchise of the Year for Woofie’s.
“This honor is reserved for a franchise owner who exemplifies outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication, and a commitment to excellence that inspires us all,” said Amy Addington, Brand President of Woofie’s.
Taylor and Bree have set the standard for what it means to be remarkable franchise owners. Ever since they opened, they have demonstrated an incredible passion not just for growing their business, but for supporting fellow franchisees and strengthening the Woofie's brand as a whole. All of this while each working their full-time corporate jobs and raising their 3-year-old son and 6-month-old daughter.
“Their hard work, positive attitude, innovation, and commitment have resulted in tremendous business growth—and an undeniable impact on your local community,” Amy said. “We are proud to have them as part of the Woofie's family, and we can't wait to see how they continue to grow and inspire those around them.”

What do you feel has been the biggest benefit of being part of a franchise?
Having an established brand and process in place to build from.
What do you credit your success to?
Hard work, efficiency, and a bit of luck.
What advice would you give to someone considering joining a franchise?
Do an analysis on who your competitors might be, how much they charge, and research what struggles they might have to get a good understanding of what you're getting into.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
We love playing with our two small children and watching Atlanta Falcons football!
