The Authority Brands' 2025 Convention brought all of our brands together in one place to learn, grow, and celebrate. One of the highlights of our event was the Gala Awards, where we recognized our Franchise Owners of the Year for 2024.
Bill Carrera, owner of Monster Tree Service in North Metro Denver, was named the 2024 Monster Tree Service Franchisee of the Year.
“Bill is one of the most humble and accomplished people I have ever met. He is very committed to the Monster Tree brand and to the success of all franchise owners,” said Rob White, Brand President. “Besides being on the Marketing Council and always willing to help other franchise owners, Bill is our best validator. We all know how vital validation is to a franchise system.”
In 2020, Bill was planning to start his business but had to put it on hold and didn’t open until early spring 2021. Once he got started, his business exploded! In 2021, Bill produced $1.5 million in top-line sales, landing him in the “Top 10” in his first year! He was awarded “Rookie of the Year” for his outstanding performance.
Bill’s business has not slowed down since then. In 2022, Bill reached $2.3 million, and in 2024, it exceeded $2.7 million. He is continually among Monster Tree’s top plant health care producers, leading the way in that profitable service line. He has also been named “Google Review” champion two years in a row.
Rob believes the best compliment one can receive comes from their peers or the people they lead. When he asked Bill’s Office Manager, Jenna Dostilio, about him as a leader, she said, “Bill truly loves his business but, most importantly, his staff. He shows respect ALWAYS! He is always listening to see if he can find new ways for us to grow and improve. He is always true to his word and never lets us down as a team. Whenever we encounter tough days, he has always kept his head high with a positive attitude to help us push through.”
