The Authority Brands' 2025 Convention brought all of our brands together in one place to learn, grow, and celebrate. One of the highlights of our event was the Gala Awards, where we recognized our Franchise Owners of the Year for 2024.
The Authority Brands Restoration Division, made up of STOP Restoration and DRYmedic, had a big year in 2024, with new programs and processes, growth, and ramp-up with new owners.
“When choosing the Franchisee of the Year, we looked for a franchisee that exceeded our expectations in the following categories: adoption of tools and process, growth in revenue year-over-year, and implementation of marketing strategies among many other attributes,” said Carlos Hesano, President of the Restoration Division.
Forest Gagne from San Francisco, CA, joined DRYmedic in July 2023. Already a successful Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise owner, Forest saw the opportunity to couple the two businesses together and seized it.
“This team started off with a strong ramp-up for a portion of 2023 and blew the numbers out of the water for 2024 with 300% percentage increase from the prior year,” Carlos said.
