In February, we held the Scaling to Success Franchisee Summit with DoodyCalls and Woofie’s! Our pack of franchise owners, corporate teams, and vendor partners came together at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN, for days of collaboration, learning and shared insights!
The Summit began with an optional offsite field trip to Woofie’s of Nashville for a behind-the-scenes tour of the “On The Spot” pop-up grooming suite, a first of its kind for the network —a treat just for Woofie’s owners.
That evening, everyone gathered for the Summit Welcome Social at Water’s Edge Restaurant, where both brands mingled, made new friends, and got the energy rolling for the days ahead.
Day two opened with a joint General Session, where owners heard from keynote speakers Rod Bristol, Certified Franchise Executive & Profit Soup Director, and Kenneth Schweighofer, Chief Marketing Officer of Authority Brands. Their presentations encouraged thoughtful discussion and offered new perspectives on business growth, performance, and long-term success.
Following the General Sessions, owners transitioned into brand-specific workshops for the rest of the day, allowing participants to dive deeper into topics most relevant to their businesses.
The evening was a real treat: The Leash and Lounge Co-brand Celebration! Here, we recognized our Franchise Owners of the Year—Tara Sobek from Woofie’s of West Orlando, FL, and Brandon Fritz from DoodyCalls of Baltimore, MD.
Day three featured DoodyCalls owner workshops and roundtable discussions, along with Woofie’s Breakout Sessions.
The summit concluded with the Co-brand Marketing Partners Luncheon and closing sendoffs, leaving attendees with fresh ideas and actionable takeaways to bring back to their businesses.
Events like the Scaling to Success Franchisee Summit reinforce the value of coming together to share insights, exchange best practices, and build stronger connections across our franchise community. Thank you to every attendee, speaker, and organizer who helped make this Summit a success!
