In February, nearly 600 franchise owners representing The Cleaning Authority, The Junkluggers, and Homewatch CareGivers gathered in Reno, NV, for the Indoor Brands Conference – an annual opportunity to align, learn, and invest in the future of their businesses. The event, held from February 15 to 17, embraced the theme Bold Bets, Brighter Futures. It was more than just a meeting—it was a celebration of collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision for long-term success.
Throughout mainstage presentations, interactive roundtables, and one-on-one conversations, franchise owners exchanged valuable insights on what’s working, common challenges, and the support needed to build stronger, more resilient operations in their communities.
The conference served as a reminder of why coming together matters: to learn from each other, to recognize excellence, and to stay focused on what drives performance.
Our priorities remain clear: supporting franchise owners, enhancing systems, and raising the standard of service delivered every day. With these guiding principles, we continue to build brighter futures for our brands and the communities we serve.
The Conference kicked off on February 15 with individual brand welcome sessions. This gave each brand dedicated time to network with peers, catch up with old and new friends, and strengthen relationships ahead of their conference sessions.
On Monday morning, the Indoor Brands Combined General Session brought all three brands together. The general session opened with remarks from Authority Brands CEO, Jay Caiafa, who set the tone for a day full of impact. Attendees also heard from EVP and interim leader Tom Swift, who shared his background and valuable business insights.
Following the opening, franchise performance expert and bestselling author Scott Greenberg delivered an energizing keynote. He shared practical strategies to boost profitability, elevate team culture, and enhance the customer experience in a competitive landscape.
Scott then moderated a candid panel featuring franchise owners: Lucy Mejia, The Junkluggers Atlanta Metro East, GA; Wendy Raney, Homewatch CareGivers of Dallas, TX; and Greg Miller, The Cleaning Authority of Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Holland, MI. The session included real-world stories, proven tactics, and a Q&A segment designed to help participants implement changes that drive growth and engagement.

Franchise owners then connected with trusted vendor partners during the Vendor Expo, exploring tools and solutions that support day-to-day operations. Then, franchise owners split up into individual brand rooms for brand-specific general sessions and breakouts.
Homewatch CareGivers Brand President Todd Houghton kicked off the brands sessions with a Message from the President, followed by roundtable discussions on ten different topics, including nursing services, caregiver engagement, and revenue drivers.
The Cleaning Authority dedicated the afternoon to celebrating its outstanding franchise owners during their annual awards ceremony. The event highlighted remarkable achievements and honored those who went above and beyond. Attendees also received a comprehensive performance overview and learned about important updates shaping the future of The Cleaning Authority.
The Junkluggers kicked off their afternoon session with an inspiring set of opening remarks from the leadership team. Leaders outlined objectives for 2026 and shared a clear strategic vision for the brand’s future, highlighting a clear path toward collective growth and greater impact. The session also celebrated the outstanding achievements of franchise partners, spotlighting stories of dedication and success that truly represent the heart and soul of The Junkluggers community. Following the opening remarks, a Franchise Advisory Panel (FAC) gave owners the opportunity to hear directly from their elected franchisee representatives.
The day closed out with all three brands together again at the Vendor Show for a Happy Hour.

Tuesday, February 17 focused on brand-specific sessions. Each brand organized a series of breakout presentations and discussions, allowing franchise owners to choose the topics that best matched their individual business interests.
- For Homewatch CareGivers, topics ranged from AI’s Role in Home-Based Care to Marketing Priorities to Field Sales. Homewatch CareGivers closed their brand sessions back together for an award ceremony.
- For The Cleaning Authority, topics ranged from optimizing close rates to converting more one-time-only clean leads to an open forum with the Business Coaches.
- For The Junkluggers, topics included an overview of the Remix Market business, Scheduling and Route Management, and a Goal Setting session with the full group back together.

The conference concluded with a themed closing reception that transported attendees straight into the Roaring 20s. The EDGE Nightclub set the scene for a Great Gatsby–inspired celebration, complete with art-deco décor, lively Vegas energy, and a stylish nod to the Jazz Age.
More than just a party, this immersive experience offered the perfect backdrop for networking, laughter, and saying farewell to Indoor Brands in truly unforgettable style.

Throughout the event, the 2025 Franchise Owner of the Year for each brand was recognized. Congratulations to the winners:
