How many years have you been a franchise owner with your brand?

What was your professional background before becoming a franchise owner?
I was most recently working in private equity.
What do you feel has been the biggest benefit of being part of a franchise?
The franchise community is amazing! Being able to leverage that talent has been extremely helpful. It shortens the learning process.

Working with the Vice President and Franchise Business Consultant of Benjamin Franklin helps keep me in line with KPIs and other industry standards.
What do you credit your success to?
God, He is who keeps me grounded and guides the way I manage my business. Along with that is my team. You are only as good as your team, and they are phenomenal!
What advice would you give to someone considering joining a franchise?
Follow the system! It has been proven time and time again. If you join the franchise, that is exactly what you are signing up for. Coupled with that, you have to have a dogged mentality to succeed. Failure cannot be an option, and every lesson can only be used to make you better.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, fishing, woodworking and anything else in the outdoors.
